Riverside Drive

These photos were taken by my love, Brian, on the Upper West Side on Riverside. After being in New York for nearly 2 years come May 2020 I have definitely found my way around and feel like this  city has really became a part of who I am. Don't worry that doesn't mean I have changed because I am still the blunt passionate care-free person I have always been. If anything this place has made me open my eyes and really figure out what is important to me. Creating my home in New York has come with many challenges but also many forms of growth. Sometimes I still can't believe what I've accomplished and how far I've come. I know I still have a lot of growing to do and many things to learn but the hustle continues here in the filthy streets of the hustle capital of the world. Really though, the streets here are very dirty but surprisingly many people in New York actually sort their recycling here. I can't say I could see myself settling down here because this is not the place for me. I see a big backyard, a garden, and more trees in my future but my journey is beautiful and I hope to continue to discover myself here and maybe even gain some of New York's toughness because you know what they say? If you live in New York you can live anywhere right?
