Maison Margiela Sneakers Are Literally Trash

Have you guys seen this? The Spring Summer 2020 collection for Maison Margiela includes these hideous sneakers for your wardrobe. I would't be caught dead wearing these, let alone owning them. What fool would spend $1700 on shoes that look like trash. Here's a DIY project for you kids why don't you take your ugly dad sneakers and add some neon paint and duct tape. Those would run you way cheaper. 

I understand there is a trend now a days for a deconstructed type of look but this does not hit the bar. This is something else. This is more like if your 4 year old took your sneakers and decorated them. These belong in the trash. I hope no one really spends their money on this garbage.
